I read an article in the Age that was published in February, 2013 and it went on to say how Australia predicts that there will be a major increase, around 30% in International students wanting to come to Australia to study. The International Advisory council has a list of recommendations that should be put in place to be able to accomodate such a large increase in students. One of the recomendations is to allow International students to receive concession cards for cheaper transport.
“In a bid to make international students feel more welcome, the report said they should have access to the same transport concessions as domestic students.”
